Insight onsite™

In the construction of the CardioCliniC in Hamburg, TOPMAX, the world's very first table form with a new maintenance-free flat steel frame and plastic ply more than met expectations: reduced transport and handling, lower labour costs through faster transfer/ relocation times, high-grade concrete surfaces thanks to the plastic ply, minimum time spent on cleaning and repair work. At 0.16 h/m², shuttering times were very short.

Some 15,000 m² of slab surfaces were shuttered extremely quickly and efficiently. Thanks to the simple connection of TOPMAX table forms with RASTO-TAKKO, infill areas were shuttered efficiently almost without any need for special solutions. Even combined with H 20 special tables in the peripheral areas of the lower storeys, with their oversized joists, the system proved its efficiency. The 13 m² and 10 m² TOPMAX tables with their only 12 cm tall allround perforated steel borders (hot-dip galvanized and powder coated) were transported and stored with minimum space requirements. The Europlusnew props with the special folding head (180 degree articulation) and self-securing bolts and locking mechanism ensured swift erection and dismantling. To facilitate rapid erection and relocation of the tables, an electric carriage was used on the site; this impressed the contractors with its vast vertical flexibility. Assisting the tables in their storey-to-storey climb was the crane-operated TOPMAX transfer fork with a capacity of 1,250 kg.
