Mechanical and powered access is a key element within the Harsco Infrastructure product range. Mast Climbing Work Platforms (MCWPs), personnel and material transport hoists, suspended access platform cradles and Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) can all offer specific advantages over more traditional access systems for projects of all types.
The powered MASTCLIMBERS™, hoists, suspended cradles and aerial work platforms are quick to set-up or install and allow personnel, tools and materials to be transported quickly to the ideal working level. Mechanical access creates minimal obstruction above or below the access platform and leaves the work face clear for other operations.
Our design teams will work with you to devise an access arrangement that is practical, cost-effective and highly efficient, drawing from our entire range of powered and non-powered access systems.

Mast Climbing Work Platforms (MCWPs)
MASTCLIMBERS are an automated access system that provides fast, efficient distribution and temporary access for personnel, goods and materials to their exact position of work on industrial, construction and renovation projects.
Whilst particularly effective on high-rise buildings, MASTCLIMBERS can also be highly efficient on medium and low-rise projects. The wide, stable work platform gives space for equipment and tools and provides a safe material handling solution with a high load capacity.
Transport platforms
Our personnel and material transport platform hoists can lift people or equipment to the required location safely and economically on site. The systems also reduce the requirement for crane use on site and provide a safer, less weather dependent means of lifting.
With a large floor area and wide access gates, personnel and materials hoists are an ideal mechanical access compliment to any site and can be loaded using conventional tele-handlers or forklift trucks.
Suspended access platforms
Our suspended access platforms, sometimes known as cradles, raise and lower personnel and materials to their working position using cables and powered winches.
Ideal for installation, inspection and maintenance work for construction or industrial projects, suspended access platforms and cradles are popular with contractors due to their speed and convenience.
Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs)
Our versatile range of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) are ideal for short duration tasks and suitable for use on a wide range of tasks and are best suited for use on your construction and industrial projects.
